SSP: Hey Justin, let’s start this with an easy one - what are your main influences?
Justin: Music in general. I don’t really like to narrow it down to something particular.
SSP: What’s it been like touring with The Summer Set? You and Brian Dales are bros right?
Justin: It’s been fun. We’ve had some pretty crazy nights, and yeah he’s a bro so it’s been fun to get to hang out with him and everyone else.
SSP: You have a lot of followers on Twitter and have witty and fun tweets, do you see yourself as a voice of this generation seeing as how a majority of younger people rely on social networking to express themselves?
Justin: Some tweets I do try to be serious with and hope people will relate to or see another view on something.
SSP: You released the single “American Kids” a few weeks ago, how has the fan reaction been to that song?
Justin: It’s been good. We’ve never actually released a “single” before and this has been the best response we could hope for.
SSP: You haven’t released a full album in over a year, there are plans for an album out soon though, right?
Justin: Yes, we’ve completed the album and it will be out before the end of the year.
